At the Berendonck Thermal Baths, a 33 square metre kelo wood sauna by B +S Finnland Sauna is the perfect place to relax.
Up to 40 people can find space at the same time in the earth sauna with its 8 square metres (approx.) large porch. With cladding made of thermowood, a wall thickness of 30 cm and an inner sauna ceiling, this premium earth sauna sets itself as a crowd puller against its sauna competitors.
The dead and naturally dried kelo wood of the Finnish polar spruce is 100% distortion-free, weather-resistant and therefore perfectly suitable for sauna construction.
The so-called “traditional Finnish sauna” has an H-shaped heater placed at the back wall, which is built into high-quality Ibbenbüren natural stone from Germany.
The patented B+S Finnland Sauna special combination sauna stove is wood-fired, operated with an additional electric heater (power approx. 40 kW). The log storage bins are located directly adjacent to the heater, and the heater is equipped with a heat protection according to DIN standard.
The sauna benches are arranged in three stages and equipped with the patented bench-shifting system with closed bench interspaces. The special feature of the earth sauna is the pitched roof with extensive roof greening, whereby specially designed chains assist the water drainage.
