The Berendonck Thermal Baths invite you to relax and enjoy the new 33 square metre kelo wood sauna.
Up to 40 people can enjoy the sauna and the large entrance (8 square metres approx) at the same time.
With thermowood cladding, a wall thickness of 30 cm and an inner sauna ceiling, this premium earth sauna sets itself as a crowd puller against its sauna competitors.
The dead and naturally dried kelo wood of the Finnish polar spruce is 100% distortion-free, weather-resistant and therefore perfectly suitable for sauna construction.
The so-called “Traditional Finnish sauna” has a H-shaped stove situated at the back wall, surrounded by high-quality Ibbenbürener natural stone. The patented B + S special combination stove is wood-fired with an additional electric heater (power approx. 40 kW).
The log bins are located directly next to the stove, which is equipped with a heat protection according to DIN standard.
The sauna benches are arranged in three stages and equipped with the patented bench-shifting system with closed bank interspaces. The special feature of the earth sauna is the pitched roof with extensive roof greening, whereby specially designed chains assist drainage.
